	Villacana is a resort of more than 350 villa units located between the jet-set Puerto Banus and the traditional Spanish town of Estepona. This affords you the best of both worlds. Many people travel the world in search of the ideal holiday hot spot but eventually return to Villacana saying that it cannot be bettered, this indicates how good Villacana is. 	Villacana streches out from the beach club with its magnificent swimming pool and children’s pool, adjoining bar and restaurant on the lower level and leads to a wide sandy beach which forms part of the 23 km stretch of the coast of Estepona. On the upper level of the Club there are another two restaurants and a bar/club which has entertainment in the evening. There is another restaurant beside the beach which serves the highest standard of international cuisine. The Beach Club is separated from the sandy beach by a private lawn which is for the relaxation of residents.


	The sun dappled walkways that thread their way through Villacana are flanked by lush well tended award winning gardens with a variety of tropical plants splashing a blaze of colour at every turn. These pedestrian avenues knit together a mix of traditional pueblo and more modern style townhouses. The Villacana development designed by Miguel Oliver originally for a Canadian controlled company is now managed to a high standard by the Community of Owners.




		The ideal of the creators of Villacana was to provide the perfect environment for contented living. Therefore, the varying needs of the individual holiday maker have been essential in the detail of the project planning. The modern town houses have marble flooring and cavity sound-proofed walls. The units are available up to 3 bedrooms with modern kitchens providing culinary facilities for the most discerning as well as having easy maintenance.

For those who choose to to holiday at Villacana for a short or longer stay the services within the resort are many ranging from a hair dresser to a mini supermarket. Also adjacent to Villacana is Gregorios Spanish Restaurant which is popular with children and adults alike. The village of Cancelada is a ten minute walk away and is fast gaining a reputation as a gastronomic area with many restaurants and bars of with variety international styles.

Apart from the south club house swimming pool and the childrens pool Communidad Villacana has three other pools well placed throughout the development and these are surrounded by townhouses. Just the thing for that early morning swim. In the north section there are two further pools one of which is heated. There is also another restaurant and bar in this area. For those who are sports minded Villacana is surrounded by an area of unlimited activity from beach sports to tennis, horse riding and many golf courses within easy reach of Villacana. Villacana is within easy reach of the luxury harbour of Puerto Banus, with its spectacular marina berthing every style and size of pleasure boat from ocean going yachts to ski-towing speed boats. The Port also has restaurants, bars, discotheques and shops to satisfy the most discerning tastes. For those of a quieter disposition, there are the back streets of Estepona with shops to match their surroundings. Yet again, for those who prefer the truly Spanish flavour. There is the town of Ronda or Casares an untouched mountain village. Both are but a short drive into the country.
